Frequently Asked Questions
How do I pay my bill?
We have two preferred methods of payment. You can prepay for your entire program in January when you receive your prepay letter, or you can sign up to auto-pay for your services. Call our office to set up auto-pay and we will charge your credit or debit card each time an application is completed. You also have the option to send in your payment with the statement your RYANPro will leave on your door the day the application is applied.
How will I know you've visited my property?
You will see the statement on your door or in your mail slot, and your RYANPro will post one of our lawn signs in your yard near the street.
Why do I have weeds in my lawn when I am on your standard program?
There are many reasons weeds can pop up in your lawn. However, weed control is free for customers on our standard program. So, if weeds pop up between visits (we are on your property about every 6-10 weeks) call our office and we will have your RYANPro spot treat for weeds between applications.
Do I need to call to renew my services every year?
No. We will send you a renewal letter every January detailing your program and any recommendations for the upcoming year, and give you an opportunity to receive our pre-pay discount. We will continue service on your property until you tell us otherwise.
Why is my summer application more expensive than the others?
The summer application (L034) is actually a combination of the summer fertilizer (L03) plus grub control (L04). Doing this allows us to keep your grub control costs in line with our other treatments. Because you are getting two applications, the price on your statement is doubled. You can make arrangements to pay for the first half of the bill when you receive your statment and then pay the remaining balance within 30 days. Just call our office or speak with your RYANPro.
Do you liquid or granular applications?
Most of our lawn applications will be granular. There are a few instances when we will use a liquid application.
Are the applications safe for my pets?
It is very rare that any of our applications will have an ill affect on your pets. In fact, the product we use to control grubs is the same product as Advantage, used to control fleas on pets. However, your pets should remain off the lawn until the application is dry if we use a liquid application.
How long should I wait after an applicaton before my children or I can be on the lawn?
You may walk on the lawn (with shoes) immediately, since most of our applications are granular. If it's a liquid application, remain off the lawn until it is dry, normally within 30-60 minutes. All treatments are safe after they are watered in.
When is the first application?
The first lawn application of the year is usually applied between February and the end of March.
How do I contact my RYANPro?
You can call our office any time between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. However, most of our RYANPros spend their days out of the office in the field. You will be able to leave voicemails for them at any time. Your RYANPro will return your call within one business day. We do have a certified agronomist on staff who can answer urgent questions during the day by calling our Overland Park, Kansas office at (913) 381-1505.
Do you mow or provide leaf and snow removal?
We do not provide these services at this time. However, we can refer you to mowers, landscapers and other service providers that we have found to do quality work. If you do want one billing for all of your lawn care needs, we do work with several companies to provide this "one stop shop."
