I have an evergreen tree that I want to move from one house to another. Is it possible to transplant it, without killing it – it's about 15-20' tall now. If it is possible to do this, when is the best time of year and who do I get to do it?
I spoke with Larry Ryan and he said now is a great time to transplant the tree. He thinks it will live. We do not move trees, but you can call Kokopelli Nursery (913-397-0020). The owner of the nursery also has a tree moving service. There may be some conflicts with utility lines, but the tree mover will be able to help you with all of that.
