Kirkwood, Missouri — Ryan Lawn & Tree is proud to celebrate arborist Dominick Fiorello, who earned 3rd place after advancing to the finals of the 2026 Midwestern Chapter Tree Climbing Championship. The annual competition brings together some of the region’s most skilled arborists to showcase the expertise, precision, and safety practices that define professional tree care.
Hosted by the Midwestern Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, the championship challenges competitors in events that simulate real world arborist work, including Ascent, Belayed Speed Climb, Aerial Rescue, Work Climb, and Throwline. The top competitors advance to the prestigious Masters Challenge, where they demonstrate their technical ability and decision making under pressure.
Dominick’s performance throughout the weekend earned him a spot in the finals, where he ultimately secured an impressive third-place finish against some of the best climbers in the Midwest.

The event was also a testament to RYAN’s commitment to supporting the arboriculture community. Several RYAN team members traveled to compete, volunteer, and encourage fellow climbers throughout the weekend. In addition, RYAN hosted a dedicated “RYAN Retreat,” a welcoming space where competitors could take a break, cool down, enjoy a drink, and connect with others between events.
The retreat reflected the company’s culture of teamwork and hospitality, providing a place for climbers and supporters to recharge during the demanding competition.
