Responsibilities of the Job

• Establish a positive rapport with existing and potential customers through inbound and outbound calls
• Communicate clearly, effectively, professionally, with a positive attitude
• Accurately enter customer requests and information into the customer database
• Effectively communicate with other departments and branches to ensure each customer’s needs are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Consistently maintain current, broad knowledge of Ryan Lawn & Tree products, policies and procedures
• Confirm new or retain customers by identifying customer concerns and selling the value of our services
• Provide recommendations through needs-based selling; identify customer needs using questions, educate customers on the value, features and benefits of their services, and be able to ask for the sale
• Adaptability: Effectively manages and supports changes to processes and procedures; Adjusts work habits to meet the demands of large call volumes

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous customer service phone experience in a fast-paced environment
• Detail Focused: Able to process customer requests efficiently and accurately
• Excellent communication skills: Able to clearly communicate in both written and verbal contexts with internal processes and external customers
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Must have strong administrative, computer, organizational and detail skills
• Personal Leadership: Successfully manages all expectations to maximize productivity and personal achievement. Sets goals and achieves measurable results which align with the needs, priorities and goals of the company
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
