The raised deck is simple with timber and black railings. It also has drainage for easy maneuvering during the rainy season. We put in seat walls, which doubles in value as a retaining wall to prevent erosion all around the deck. The deck descends to a pergola fitted with a hanging chair; We filled the ground surrounding both structures with decorative rock and plantings.
